William Clinton Beckham, Jr., 78, of Havana, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret Beckham.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, EDT, Thursday, August 21st at Christian Heritage Church. Burial will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 20th at Bevis Funeral Home of Tallahassee.

A native of Homerville, Georgia, Mr. Beckham moved to Tallahassee in 1968. He was a graduate of Clinch County High School and played on the first football team. He later attended the Military College of Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1959 with a B.S in Forestry. He worked for the Florida Department of Natural Resources for several years and was instrumental in developing bike and canoe trails. Later in private business he founded Burgundy Farms and later with his son, Burgundy Timber.
Mr. Beckham was a past Commander of the Finley Brigade #1614, Sons of Confederate Veterans, past 3rd Brigade Commander of the Florida Division of SCV, and past Florida Division Chief of Staff for SCV. He was also past president of the Havana Kiwanis Club.
Other survivors include his son, Clint Beckham (Missy) of Bainbridge; two daughters, Erin Milligan (Heath, Sr.) of Tallahassee and Lori Lee Beckham of Havana; and nine grandchildren, Will, Pate, Graham, Mary Margaret, Darcy, Macey, Heath Alan, Jordyn and Morghyn. Mr. Beckham was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. Beckham, Sr. and Ruth Cornelius Beckham; and three sisters, Dorothy B. Schuck, Virginia B. Childs and Betty Rose Smith.
